LPWS in Short
LPWS refers to the Lightpoint Value System.
In Dutch: Lichtpuntwaardestelsel.
It is an open recognition framework.
LPWS helps make contribution, presence, care, responsibility and context more visible before value moves further.
It begins with recognition.
It may also support simple voluntary exchange where people freely agree, and where context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
LPWS does not begin with money.
It does not begin with fixed prices.
It does not begin with ownership, debt or status.
It begins with seeing what is actually being carried.
What LPWS Helps Make Visible
LPWS helps notice forms of value that are often missed, such as:
- care
- effort
- responsibility
- repair
- preparation
- presence
- protection
- trust
- clarity
- support
- continuity
- contribution that is not always immediately paid or measured
The purpose is not to turn everything into a number.
The purpose is to prevent meaningful contribution from remaining invisible.
Recognition may remain wide.
Movement should remain careful.
Lightpoints and Field Log
Lightpoints help make recognised contribution visible.
They are not money.
They are not purchasing power.
They are not a social credit score.
They are not automatic entitlement.
Lightpoints remain markers of recognition.
They do not move as exchange.
The Field Log helps preserve context.
It can show what was recognised, why it mattered and what was actually carried.
Without context, recognition can become loose.
With context, recognition becomes more grounded.
Carrying Value
Carrying Value is rooted in the Dutch term Draagwaarde.
It may arise where recognised contribution also shows practical weight.
It is not the same as Lightpoints.
It is not the same as Lumen.
A Lightpoint may show that something was seen.
Carrying Value may show that something also carried practical weight.
Carrying Value can help describe recognised effort, care, practical help, responsibility, object value, service, material, Source Space or support before broader circulation is considered.
Within LPWS, Carrying Value may support simple voluntary exchange between participants where context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
This may include help, objects, services, practical support or ordinary currency where participants freely agree to use it.
Carrying Value may not be created from empty confirmation alone.
It must remain connected to what was actually carried.
Where Carrying Value begins to touch products, stock, business capacity, Source Space or wider circulation, the question may move toward DKWS and stronger carrying conditions.
This keeps LPWS light without making it passive.
Recognition may remain wide, while movement remains careful.
Simple Voluntary Exchange
LPWS is not only a place where contribution can be recognised.
Where people freely agree, simple voluntary exchange may take place within LPWS.
This may include practical help, objects, services, care, repair, transport, ordinary currency or Carrying Value.
Simple voluntary exchange remains healthy when context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
It does not turn LPWS into a marketplace, bank or payment system.
It does not make Lightpoints spendable.
It does not create automatic rights.
It does not force anyone to offer, accept or participate.
A proposal may invite participation.
It may not demand it.
Simple exchange belongs inside LPWS when it remains direct, voluntary, understandable and grounded between the people involved.
Where exchange becomes larger, heavier, structural, entrepreneurial or risk-bearing, DKWS may provide the connected capacity layer.
What LPWS is Not
LPWS is not a conventional currency.
It is not a debt model.
It is not a bank.
It is not a payment system.
It is not a social credit system.
It is not a hierarchy of human worth.
It is not a system for ranking people.
It does not decide someone’s value as a person.
It does not force every contribution into exchange.
It does not turn Lightpoints into purchasing power.
It does not turn recognition into automatic entitlement.
It does not turn Carrying Value into automatic claim.
LPWS keeps recognition open without turning it into control.
Where DKWS Begins
LPWS helps value become visible.
LPWS may support simple voluntary exchange where context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
DKWS helps responsibility become workable where exchange becomes larger, heavier, structural, entrepreneurial or risk-bearing.
Lumen belongs to DKWS.
Lumen may support practical circulation within a defined DKWS context, but only where practical exchange is supported by real carrying capacity, clear source, defined limits, consent, responsibility and return flow.
This means that recognition within LPWS does not automatically become Lumen, money, purchasing power or claim.
Lightpoints recognise.
The Field Log preserves context.
Carrying Value may support simple exchange where it remains grounded.
Lumen may move only where carrying capacity is present.
Who LPWS is For
LPWS may be entered by people, groups, communities, projects or organisations that want to explore recognition without immediately reducing value to money.
It can support people who want to make contribution visible in a lighter, more human and more contextual way.
It may also support simple voluntary exchange between participants where context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
Participation is voluntary.
Stepping closer is possible.
Stepping back is also possible.
No one is forced to offer, accept or participate.
The field should remain open, clear and non-forcing.
In Essence
LPWS helps value become visible.
It recognises contribution without turning it into automatic exchange.
It uses Lightpoints to make recognition visible.
It uses the Field Log to preserve context.
Lightpoints do not move as exchange.
Carrying Value is rooted in the Dutch term Draagwaarde.
Carrying Value may show where recognised contribution also carries practical weight.
Carrying Value may support simple voluntary exchange where context, consent and carried capacity remain visible.
Simple voluntary exchange may take place within LPWS, but only where it remains direct, voluntary, contextual and grounded.
Lumen belongs to DKWS and may move only where carrying capacity is present.
Recognition within LPWS does not automatically become Lumen, money, purchasing power or claim.
LPWS keeps human worth separate from practical value.
LPWS exists so recognition can become clearer, lighter and more grounded before any wider movement of value is considered.
